Valedictory function

 Day 6 The final day of the Community Living Camp – Synergy 2K25 commenced with the usual morning routine of wake-up, personal time, and breakfast. The highlight of the day was “The Final Bow”, the valedictory function marking the successful completion of the six-day camp. The session began with the college anthem, followed by a warm welcome address by Camp Student Coordinator, Adith S.B. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. B. Suresh, Principal, Iqbal Training College, who congratulated the participants for their active involvement and shared valuable insights on the importance of experiential learning in teacher education.  Day 5 The evening of Day 5 concluded with the vibrant campfire event titled “Glowing Circle.” The venue was beautifully prepared by the trainees, with lights arranged around the area and seats organized in a circular formation, creating a warm and inviting ambience. Participants gathered around the glowing fire, engaging in fun-filled games such as dumb charades, songs, and lively group activities. The joyful atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and a spirit of togetherness. The Glowing Circle campfire provided a perfect end to the day, fostering friendship, teamwork, and relaxation after the journey to Ponmudi. It truly reflected the harmony and happiness that marked the essence of the camp experience. -

 Day 3 The fourth day of Synergy 2K25 began early with the morning routine and the energizing session “MORNING MILE.” The activity helped the participants start the day with enthusiasm and physical alertness. After breakfast, the day’s first session, “BELLS ON,” set the tone for the day’s learning and collaboration. The morning session titled “UNLOCKING YOU” was conducted by Ms. Malavika Ritu, who guided participants through self-awareness activities and reflective exercises. The session encouraged the student teachers to explore their strengths, aspirations, and emotions, creating a platform for personal growth. The session encouraged fitness, team spirit, and discipline, setting a positive tone for the day. After breakfast, participants assembled for the first session of the day, “UNLOCKING YOU,” led by Ms. Malavika Ritu. Through interactive exercises and self-reflection tasks, student teachers explored their inner strengths and emotional awareness. By mid-morning, the camp hosted a motivational session “POSE AND PEACE” conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Baiju A., Professor in Physical Education.  Day 1 The first day of the Community Living Camp – Synergy 2K25 marked the formal beginning of an inspiring and collaborative journey. The day began with the inaugural session “PRARAMBH” at 1:30 p.m. in the college auditorium. The session commenced with the College Anthem, followed by a welcome address by Mr. Ganapathy A.P., Staff Advisor and Assistant Professor in General Education. An overview of the camp was presented by Ms. Nayana Rany S.J., Camp Coordinator and Assistant Professor in General Education, highlighting the objectives, theme, and expected outcomes of the six-day programme. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. B. Suresh, Principal, Iqbal Training College, who emphasized the importance of teamwork, empathy, and social responsibility in teacher education.  Community living camp The Community Camp Inauguration was conducted as a part of the B.Ed. curriculum, with the objective of fostering social responsibility, community awareness, and experiential learning among teacher trainees. The programme began with a formal inauguration ceremony, highlighting the importance of community service and the role of teachers in social development. The objectives of the community camp were explained, focusing on creating awareness about health, hygiene, education, and social values among the community members. Students were motivated to actively participate in various camp activities such as awareness programmes, surveys, and community interaction. The inauguration set a positive tone for the camp and encouraged active involvement of all participants. The programme helped in developing leadership qualities, cooperation, and a sense of commitment towards community welfare, thereby fulfilling the aims of the B.Ed. curriculum.

 Week 4 Fourth Week of Teaching Practice Report (4th to 8th) The fourth week of my teaching practice at Iqbal School, conducted from 4th to 8th, was both academically and administratively significant. During this week, the school election was conducted in each class for the selection of school leaders, and I was assigned election duty in Class 9E. This responsibility helped me gain experience in student supervision, discipline, and smooth conduct of school activities. Along with the election duty, regular teaching sessions were also carried out. In Class 8D, I taught the chronological table and cosmic calendar, explaining the sequence of events in the origin and evolution of life in a simplified and structured manner. In Class 9E, the portions covered included the heart, protection and position of the heart, and the structure and working of the heart.  Week 3 Third Week of Teaching Practice Report (28th to 1st) The third week of my teaching practice at Iqbal School, conducted from 28th to 1st, was academically enriching and helped me deepen my teaching effectiveness. During this week, I covered important biology topics across Classes 8D, 9E, and 9C. In Class 8D, I taught the Urey–Miller experiment, explaining the experimental setup, procedure, and significance in supporting the chemical evolution theory. I also handled the topic from prokaryotic cells to eukaryotic cells, focusing on the evolutionary transition and key differences between the two cell types. Diagrams and comparative explanations were used to enhance understanding. In Class 9E, the portions covered were components of blood and formation of tissue fluid. The structure and functions of blood components were explained in detail, followed by a clear description of how tissue fluid is formed and its role in the body.
