Week 2

Week- 2

Second Week of Teaching Practice Report (21–25)

The second week of my teaching practice at Iqbal School, conducted from 21st to 25th, was more engaging and helped me further improve my teaching skills. During this week, I handled lessons in Classes 8D, 9E, and 9C, covering important biology topics.

In Class 8D, I taught scientists who contributed to substantiate the chemical evolution theory, highlighting the contributions of various scientists and explaining their experiments and ideas in a simple and understandable way. Students showed interest while learning about the scientific background of the theory.

In Class 9E, the topics covered were mechanical digestion and swallowing. The process was explained step by step with the help of diagrams and real-life examples, which helped students clearly understand how food is physically broken down in the body.

In Class 9C, I handled the digestive system and villus, explaining the structure and functions in detail. Diagrams were used to illustrate the role of villi in absorption of nutrients, and interactive questioning was encouraged to ensure student participation.

Overall, the second week was productive and strengthened my confidence in content delivery, use of teaching aids, and maintaining student engagement in the classroom.
