                      First week at Iqbal HSS

First Week of Teaching Practice Report (14–18)


The first week of my teaching practice at Iqbal School, conducted from 14th to 18th, was a valuable and enriching experience. During this period, I was assigned classes in different sections and handled various biology topics.


In Class 8D, I taught theories on the origin of life, focusing on different scientific explanations and helping students understand the concept in a simple and logical manner. In Class 9E, the topics covered were nutrients and food plate, where emphasis was given to balanced diet, types of nutrients, and their importance for health. Activities and examples from daily life were used to make the lesson more relatable. In Class 9C, I handled nutrition in Amoeba and digestion, explaining the process step by step with the help of diagrams and interactive questioning to ensure clarity.


Overall, the first week helped me gain confidence in classroom management, lesson delivery, and student interaction. The students were cooperative and responsive, making the teaching–learning process effective and encouraging.

Week 4

 Fourth week The fourth week began after the winter vacation, and returning to school after a long break felt refreshing. Both students and teachers were happy to reunite and settle back into the school routine. The classroom atmosphere was lively as students eagerly shared their vacation experiences, making the sessions more interactive and engaging. During this week, exam marks were distributed to the students. It was interesting to observe their reactions and help them understand their performance. This week helped re-establish connection with the students after the break and smoothly bring the teaching–learning process back on track.
