 Fifth Week of Teaching Practice Report (8th to 12th) The fifth week of my teaching practice at Iqbal School, conducted from 8th to 12th, was academically productive and helped me further strengthen my teaching skills. During this week, I handled biology classes in Sections 8D, 9E, and 9C, covering important concepts related to cell biology and human physiology. In Class 8D, the topics taught included the microscope, with special emphasis on the compound microscope and electron microscope. Their structure, working principles, and differences were explained using diagrams and examples. I also covered cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, and protoplasm, explaining their structure and functions in a clear and systematic manner.  Awareness class on health and hygiene As a part of sensitisation under the B.Ed. curriculum (Natural Science), an awareness class on health and hygiene was conducted using the ICT method to enhance students’ understanding through visual and interactive learning. The session focused on personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, healthy food habits, and disease prevention. ICT tools such as PowerPoint presentations, images, short videos, and charts were used to clearly demonstrate proper handwashing techniques, oral hygiene, clean surroundings, safe drinking water, and waste management. The importance of balanced diet, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and mental well-being was also explained. Students actively participated through question–answer interactions based on the visuals shown, which helped in better comprehension and retention of concepts.
